Our sandblasted signs are usually made of Redwood or Cedar and feature "raised" letters, borders and graphics against a natural woodgrain-textured background, achieved by sandblasting through a hand-cut, sand-resistant stencil. These signs can range in area from under one to over sixty square feet and can be single- or double-sided. Sandblasted signs have a more or less "rustic" appeal, but they are very effective in nearly any situation.

Our hand carved signs are usually made of HDU (high density urethane), though we have also carved signs of wood. HDU is our preferred material, due to its excellent working qualities, extreme weatherability and capacity as a substrate to produce a beautiful paint finish. These signs can range in area from under one to thirty two square feet (or more in some cases) and can be single- or double-sided. Generally these signs feature "carved-in" letters (the Sacksteder sign is an exception) and are especially effective with 23K Goldleaf, either as the primary letter finish or as an accent.
We feel our carved signs have a somewhat more "refined" appearance, and they are especially suited, though not exclusively, to professional offices, institutions and residences.
